DCN Can Opener and Solid Product Extractor Unit

The system has been designed to incorporate a standard model 150 can opening machine to open each end of the can. The lids are removed using a hand operated magnet and discharged via a chute system to a collection bin.

The can is placed in the extractor unit and the solid product, i.e. corned beef, ham, is removed using a pneumatic pusher. The can is then crushed in the can crushing unit incorporated in the extractor unit.
